This page is under-construction I began breeding Dachshunds for the love of the breed and for the true AKC standards of the dachshund. As I became more involved in the training of them I began to see more of the passion I have with the Dachshunds and dogs in general. I have been training my dogs for over 4 years and know what it takes to have a well mannered dog in society. When you seek basic puppy or adult training, you are seeking someone to help guide you and your dog/puppy on your new adventure. Training is all about structure and being consistant on what you are trying to accomplish. It is about long term goals you have for your dog/or puppy. What you expect and want their behavior to be. But it should also be fun and rewarding to you both. Not only does it shape your dog, family and society, but it teaches your dog/puppy that you are the Alpha of the household. **All puppies/Dogs that take our training are required to be up to date on all immunizations as well as their yearly rabies. The Bordatella (Kennel Cough) shot is also recommended if working in a group. Because social skills are crucial to a puppy's development, working in a group is better. Individual classes can be arranged for your convenience.** Basic Puppy Classes include : Clicker for traning, weekly what we did and homework sheets Skills: helpful potty training tips, as well as learning their name, sit, stay, leave it, come, loose leash walking, heeling, come when called, and wait As your puppy/dog begins to learn these commands, you begin to add some together. (for instance, sit and stay) |
